Live-in care is an affordable alternative to residential care. It means having a carefully selected carer to live with you to provide any care, support and assistance required in the comfort of your own home.
Domus Live-In Care is dedicated to providing tailored live-in care services for specific care requirements for our clients throughout Kent and Sussex. We arrange a tailored service for our clients based on their individual needs, providing a personalised care plan to suit the individual.

- Assistance with medication
- Household tasks (cleaning, laundry and ironing)
- Companionship

Is Live-In Care right for me?
We can provide care to a single person, someone living with a spouse or other relative, or to a couple. We offer special rates for couples.
Live-in care can be the right choice for you:
- If you have a high level of care needs
- If you require multiple short visits from carers through the day
- If you would like a companion to chat or go out with
- If you live in an area where there is little availability for short care visits

Types of Care
At Domus Live-In Care, we realise choosing which type of care you need is a big decision. Whether you are looking for live-in care on a short term, respite basis or as an alternative to residential care, Domus Live-In Care can help.
There are several different types of care to choose from. In all of these types of care, we will help you with your personal care needs as outlined above.
Long-Term Care
Long term care allows you to continue to live independently in your own home and garden, surrounded by your family, neighbours and pets. You can continue your usual routine with as little or as much support as you need.
Convalescent Care
Convalescent care enables you to return to the comfort of your own home after a spell in hospital or if you have been unwell. Having a live-in carer to look after you in your own familiar surroundings means that there is someone there around the clock if needed until you get back on your feet. The live-in carer will help you to recover by caring for you and assisting with your medication.
Respite Care/Short Term
Respite care offers you the chance to stay in the familiarity of your own home so that whoever usually looks after you can take a break themselves. This may be for a couple of weeks or however long you need. We have several clients who use this service regularly and find it works well. It allows you to carry on with your usual routine, without the upheaval associated with moving in to a residential setting. The level of support can be built around you and your requirements.
